The vast sea of blue, cold and desolate, stretching out to the lengths of what could only be the edge of the ever so magnificent world, the captain looked over the very edge into the darkness of the grand sea. He stood, frozen in the direction of the ominous ironclad machine, bobbing and listing lightly with the waves of blue. Hours passed, the men piled onto the vessel one by one, hundreds almost onto the wood grained decks, vast towering stacks, smoked billowing in a thickness of clouds, the blatant sound whaling from the horns as they set off.
